2020 was an awful year for many of us. Being forced to close in lockdown during one of the hottest Springs on record hit all nurseries and garden centres financially. Although we were able to open again for the summer of 2020, seasonal plants were extremely difficult to source and so many gardeners turned to perennial and hardy plants to fill their borders.

For us to have re-opened in 2021 we would have had to spend thousands re-stocking shrubs, trees & perennials along with the usual risks of growing seasonal plants. With a high chance that there could have been further lockdowns through the Spring of 2021, combined with the obvious risks to our health from opening again, it was decided that we couldn't risk another heavy financial loss this year.

We apologise to all our customers who have supported us over the years, but we had to do what was right for us and our family this year. We hope that you are all staying safe and look forward to a healthier and more prosperous year in 2022.
