Go Wild Landscapes
Going wild still! We are pleased to say we are fully open for business and operating almost as normal! While the restrictions remain in place we are still able to visit gardens as open spaces and whilst maintaining social distancing we can offer consultations and garden designs as usual. Our landscaping team is also operating again whilst maintaining social distancing and working safely outdoors we can design and build wildlife friendly gardens for you to enjoy.

At a time when we as a nation are appreciating our gardens and wildlife even more this is a great time for you to get in touch! The design process usually begins with a free visit to your garden, during which we can discuss the landscaping possibilities of the site and your desires for your garden design. Wildflower gardens attract bees and butterflies and birds to your garden.

We can help you establish your own wildlife garden with our Wildlife Turf. Creating a wildflower garden is of the best ways to attract and wildlife to your garden, and help the environment at the same time.
Services
Go Wild Landscapes was conceived and is run by Andrew Marshall, (pictured here with Gardeners' World presenter Rachel De Thame).
We are a small business based in the Cotswold village of Leafield.
Andrew's gardening passion began at an early age when he began working during school holidays in a tree and shrub nursery in the Lake District.
With a degree in Biological sciences he set up his own business.
This was initially in forestry contracting, gradually becoming more involved with tree surgery and gardening maintenance which lead to the establishment of Go Wild Gardening Company approximately 12 years ago.
Andrew and his team transformed our dark, dank, slabbed-over garden into a Mediterranean oasis.
The result is that our home feels transformed inside as well as out.
Go Wild were a pleasure to work with from start to finish: any communication received a prompt response, the work started on the agreed date, and the project was finished to a very high standard.
We couldn't be happier.
My garden was beautifully redesigned by Go Wild some years ago and they have maintained it ever since.
I just enjoy it.
The design process usually begins with a free visit to your garden, during which we can discuss the possibilities of the site and your desires for your garden.
Walking around your garden together, we can help identify your priorities.
For instance, are you already a keen gardener or would you rather have something low maintenance?
Our first talk with you should last around an hour to 45 minutes.
Practical considerations such as sheds, barbecues, ponds or water features, seating areas, lawns and planting will be discussed along with more visual elements such as the "flow" of the garden.
Creating a wildflower garden is one of the best ways to attract wildlife to your garden, and help the environment at the same time.
There are huge advantages in giving up an area, perhaps a section of your existing lawn, to nature and a wildflowers!
Wildflowers are in themselves 'wildlife' and will attract a wide variety of life including bees and butterflies and birds.
The best way to establish a wildflower garden is to lay Wildflower Turf.
This is far more reliable than seeding because it establishes a wide mix of perennial plants.
This is perhaps the most personal aspect of the design, and we have a particular style of planting which we use when clients have no other special preference.
Plants are chosen for their visual impact, be it for colour combinations, form or structure, and also for their importance to wildlife and for culinary and aromatic reasons.
Trees are used as much as possible to bring all-important height to the garden.
Our designs always take into consideration the all-round interest of a garden, making sure that there are evergreens or plants of interest to entertain through the winter months.
