I am an Garden Designer specialising in residential gardens throughout London and the South East. My garden style is based around beautiful, thoughtful design with a simple aesthetic and lasting quality, creating a garden that's perfect for the way you live. I work closely with each client to develop a space that is not only distinctive and well-designed but meets the needs of practical everyday living, whether for a family or an individual.
I accept residential projects ranging from a consultation to a full redesign. I am happy to advise on design styles, materials, plants, target budgets and time scales. Also, I happily work with architects or can prepare planning applications for all garden related things such as fencing/walls, outbuildings and tree planning in a conservation area.
I offer a structured approach to each project, which is broken down into phases outlined below. I'm very transparent with prices, offering trade discounts to clients where possible. It's a friendly service, focussing on considered design, textures, plants and how the garden will be used rather than current trends.

Services
I enjoy working collaboratively with you (the client) to create a garden to suit your needs, working out all the details along the way.
I have considerable expertise and experience which will allow you to enjoy the whole process while teaching you about plants, design and light in your garden.
My relationship with selected landscapers and suppliers is excellent, allowing for a seamless project from start to finish.
Clients often have a long list of requirements and a relatively small space, but somehow I manage to fit everything in without feeling compromised on space.

Here are some of our completed gardens and "work in progress".
Many of the smaller garden design projects are in the Greenwich and Blackheath area.
We have a select group of landscape contractors, with whom we work to ensure the garden creation process is smooth and seamless.
Our work includes town gardens and courtyards, cottage gardens, planting design, family gardens, edible gardens, front gardens, and country gardens.
We are currently working on projects in Greenwich and Blackheath, Greater London, Kent, Sussex and Suffolk.

We have a small back garden in Greenwich that we had not really used in the four years since we moved in.
An old shed took up much of the space and the rest of the garden was planted with large trees and bushes, leaving little available space to enjoy.
We asked Catherine to design a patio garden that we could spend lots of time in and have various areas for entertaining.
She came up with a really excellent solution that maximized the available space and gave us both a seating and dining area.
Importantly there was also lots of room for planters that have a really nice mix of flowers, plants and trees.
