Lancashire Landscapes is a responsible company which carries out all work with careful regard to the health and safety of both our employees and those around us.
We ensure that a strong health and safety culture is embedded within the workforce and have safety systems which specifically reflect the nature of our work and encompass both the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and continually changing safety legislation introduced thereafter.
Our experience of health and safety is that an ability to 'talk the talk' does not necessarily ensure that a health and safety culture exists at grass roots level.

Lancashire Landscapes is an expanding company committed to its employees and with a strong belief in the training and development of staff.
Only through a culture of continual skills development will we continue to offer a quality service delivered by highly trained and motivated personnel.
Starting from the induction training session on their very first day of work all our staff can be guaranteed a journey of continual learning.
Of significance in this process is a duty on supervisors to identify particular areas of interest or skills deficit within each of their team members so training can be tailored to every individual's specific requirements.

Lancashire Landscapes was founded in 2001 as a partnership between two friends, who share an avid interest in gardening and have a wealth of varied landscaping experience.
The company has earlier roots in Digg It Landscapes, a garden construction and maintenance business.
In 1998 Andy graduated with a 1st class degree in Landscape Management from the University of Reading.
He combines his formal qualifications with a wealth of relevant experience gained both at home and overseas.
He has worked as a nurseryman in the USA, a horticultural advisor for Stephen Smiths Garden Centre (Leeds), an assistant gardener at Shinfield Grange Botanic Garden (Reading), a landscaper for Barton Grange Landscapes (Preston) and a landscape manager for the Groundwork Trust and Hanson Aggregates.
