Anthony Paul has been a landscape designer for more than 30 years and is renowned for his innovative and contemporary gardens as well as his passion for the work. Anthony is inspired by many stimuli such as the calm of Japanese garden design and the stunning landscapes and rainforests of his native New Zealand. His varied and creative use of water, including the formation of lakes and swimming pools, is a particular characteristic of his gardens, which are known for their strong form and architectural planting.
He is also well known for designing specialised garden buildings. Anthony's designs feature around the world including in the UK, New Zealand, Australia, France, Switzerland, Africa and the Mediterranean. Based on practical experience, with a sensitive application of materials, plants and spatial use, Anthony ensures that beside the aesthetics, projects are run professionally and within his clients' expectations, budgets and deadlines.
Gardens are too precious a possession to be left to chance and clients entrusting their projects to Anthony's experience and vision range from celebrities and private individuals to large companies such as IBM.

Services
There is so much to consider in our environment that I always try to be caring and tender with my landscapes and gardens, looking for ways to enhance the space I am given, both aesthetically and environmentally.
My gardens are restrained and simple, requiring little maintenance.
I am not into cottage gardens, featuring lots of pretty flowers and colour for the sake of it.
I try to keep a simple palette and work with materials and plants which look natural in the environment I am given.
Where possible I try to use native species in my gardens, an example of this philosophy can be seen in a recently-finished project in New Zealand.
