The garden can often be a space where home owners don't know where to start with making the space functional and attractive. Unlike the inside of the house which is static, the outside space changes throughout the year and needs regular garden maintenance. We help you to create a garden to meet your specific needs. These may include accommodating children, pets, low maintenance planting, allergies and easy to care for hard landscape materials for large or small gardens.
All styles of design are accommodated from traditional to contemporary. Different design packages are available to suit your size of garden and budget e.g. the full design service or advisory/consultancy service. Each client receives a detailed initial consultation in order for us to understand the the space and what is required. The full design service offers a 3D scaled drawing using Vectorworks software to help the client to visualise the end product.
A plant design drawn to scale takes colour, style, soil conditions, aspect, budget and maintenance needs into consideration.

In 2008 I graduated from the Garden Design School in Cobham as part of a career change.
Shortly after graduation I successfully achieved a City and Guilds qualification in weeds, pests and diseases which has been invaluable over the years and benefitted many clients.
I am very passionate about garden design and regularly attend continuing professional courses and talks which helps me to keep abreast of the latest designs and developments in my field.
This helps me enhance my skills and create exciting yet functional garden designs.

Inge was a Godsend.
She came up with all sorts of ideas to incorporate our living space and garden into one space which was what I was looking for.
She was integral to the building work as she created a detailed landscaping plan for them to build retaining walls, steps, decking area etc.
She thought to suggest a side "secret" gate from our driveway direct into our garden as this reduced the walking time to the general "visitors" entrance which was essential in hindsight as with 2 kids, a pram and shopping it would have been a nightmare without it.

All gardens require a survey before any design work can commence.
This ensures that the garden is drawn to scale and minimises errors at the construction stage.
If the garden is too large or complex, a professional surveyor will be recommended.
An individualised, detailed outline plan of the design is drawn using the survey information.
The outline plan will show how all the soft and hard landscape elements will work together in relation to the existing space.
Any necessary building specification documents and construction drawings are drawn up too, if required.

You may be pleased with the existing design of your garden, but not with the types of plants.
A planting plan without the need for a full design service may be a cost effective solution.
Planting plans are designed to create a harmonious design which meets the needs and planting skill of the client.
The planting design aims to provide the garden with interest all year round or at a particular time of the year.
Planting design complements and enhances the overall appearance of the garden.
It also takes into account the type of soil and the aspect of the garden.
