Dave Robson Landscapes is a small family business established in 2002. Dave and Sylvia and John have worked hard to establish a professional and well respected landscaping business in Teesdale. We pride ourselves on the quality of work we produce and most of our work comes through recommendation. Based in Eggleston on the edge of the Pennines, most of our work is done locally.

We are professional, extremely hard working and committed to producing a very high standard of work.
Services
Dave started the business as a sole trader in 2002.
His attention to detail and high work ethic gained him a lot of respect in Teesdale, and he found he had too much work to cope with on his own.
We employ three people who range in age 18 - 62 and have a total of 55 years experience in landscaping.
Sylvia joined the business in 2006.
She accompanies Dave on site visits, deals with any administration, accounts, wages and health and safety.
Dave and Sylvia's son John has worked in the family business since 2008 and gained a Diploma in Horticulture from the University of Cumbria.
Patios and terraces are a great extension to any home and will greatly increase the use of the garden, often providing an essential link between indoor and outdoor areas.
They can give easy access for children, wheelchairs, prams and older people.
A level area for relaxing, entertaining, or viewing the garden, all you need is the sun!
All the paving that we install is laid on a wet mix and the joints are pointed by hand.
This gives a very professional finish and means that no moss or weeds will grow through the cracks, making it easy to maintain.
We are delighted with the transformation of our front garden.
We appreciate all the thought and planning which the job entailed and your persistence in spite of the poor weather.
Thank you very much for producing such a magnificent job on our car park and patio.
It has already been greatly admired by our guests& also by the inspector from the Tourist Agency!
I just wanted to write a note of thanks for the excellent work you did on my Mother's drive, patio and paths.
I had wanted my Mother to be able to walk in safety and you delivered in spades!
Paths are the arteries of a garden, leading you from one area to another, forming the lines of communication between house and garden.
Paths can be manipulated in their width, thickness, colour, texture, directions and shape.
They can give access to views, focal points, places for gathering or solitude.
To have low maintenance paths, it is important to follow the correct procedure, we always dig out the path, use a good depth of compacted small hardcore to make a solid base, and this also acts as a good deterrent to stop any weeds from growing.
Steps are possibly the most important construction element in any garden, and can be a beautiful focal point as shown in picture top left.
Steps can act as an inviting conduit, and a way of negotiating slopes and changes in levels quickly and safely.
Wherever you have steps, walls will usually be built too as shown in picture top right.
The soil on each side will need to be retained to stop the bank from collapsing.
Risers and treads need to be built very carefully to make good use of the space available, and to ensure they are safe to use.
