Tina Vallis is an award-winning garden and landscape designer with over 20 years' experience. She trained at Kew and is a Registered Member of the Society of Garden Designers. Based in Mayfield, East Sussex, Tina takes on projects of all sizes in East and West Sussex, Surrey, London and the south of England. Her gardens have won many awards including Supreme Winner of the APL Awards in 2013 and in 2015 Tina won a Gold Medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
From front gardens and single borders to family gardens and country estates, Tina works on a wide range of projects. Recent jobs include updating the planting in a large Arts and Crafts country garden to creating a tiny roof-top retreat in London. Tina has many years of experience finding attractive and practical solutions for awkwardly shaped sites, difficult slopes or lack of privacy and enjoys the challenge of creating manageable and beautiful gardens for her clients to enjoy.
Tina's experience and planting knowledge - particularly for the heavy clay soils many clients in Sussex and Kent possess - saves you from making costly and time-wasting mistakes.

Services
During the initial visit I look at the site and discuss your requirements, the style of garden you would like, problem areas, your budget and the amount of time you have available for gardening.
I will then be able to give you a quotation for the design work or, in the case of larger projects, a quotation for the first stage of the design.
An accurate survey of the existing site is needed before any design work can start.
I familiarise myself with your garden, noting views, features to be retained, slopes and levels, soil type and prevailing winds.
