Services
The Nurseries Llanbadoc was purchased by Chris and Jane Morris in 1982, over 30 years ago.
During this time the nursery mainly grew tomatoes, cut flowers and some annual bedding plants.
As demand grew for these plants so did production.
Over the years more glass houses were erected and a larger range of bedding plants were grown.
At one point the nursery was supplying all the major garden centres in the area with their annual bedding plants.
Coming right up to date, Morris's of Usk continues to be a family owned and run business.

The first alpine plants were imported from the European Alps, hence their name.
Alpines come in all shapes, sizes and colours and make a lovely display in rockeries, raised beds, troughs, sink gardens, scree gardens, in stone walls, between paving, around water gardens and in specially designed alpine houses.
With their low-growing habit and hardy nature a space can be found in any garden to grow these wonderful little plants.
Some like full sun, others partial shade; some are acid-loving, some lime-loving but they all like well-drained soil or gritty compost, matching the natural stony environment of the mountainous regions from where they originate.

Annual bedding plants are an ideal way to add instant impact to your garden.
Colourful and versatile they can be used directly in the ground to plug gaps in borders but also used to great effect in pots, tubs and containers, on patios and in window boxes and hanging baskets.
Choose from summer bedding plants and autumn and winter varieties that will withstand all but the harshest of frosts.
At Morris's we grow most of our bedding plants in our own on site nursery, guaranteeing to bring you top quality plants at excellent prices.

Climbers provide a vertical dimension to the garden, clothe arches and pergolas, cover unsightly structures, add fragrance and attract wildlife.
Here at Morris's of Usk we have a wide variety of climbers to suit all tastes.
From large wisteria dripping with racemes of colour to the heavily scented flowers of jasmine, there's something to tempt everyone.
Choose the right plant for the aspect and don't plant too close against its support.
Most climbers will need support depending on their habit.
Trellises, pergolas, archways, walls can all support climbers with the added use of wire and vine eyes, garden twine or plastic ties.
