Our story starts 24 years ago and is very much one of big ideas and garden passions, a proud Cornish boy freshly home from Pershore Horticultural College and his beautiful art student girlfriend, a dream to make a garden centre, followed by that magical element; extremely hard work. Perched high on the Atlantic Coast above the ocean, buffeted by the winds and surrounded by seven famous rugged Cornish bays, our plants start their life learning how to survive the weather.

Like all good children we throw them outside at the earliest opportunity, where they experience the famous "four seasons in one day" Cornish weather. With that kind of start in life we believe that they can pretty much survive anywhere you take them, from a holiday home on our coast at Trevone, home from your holiday to Kensington High Street or Aberdeen, we've done the hard work so you don't have to.

Flowering plants are stunning, but require a bit more work than their non-flowering brethren. Learn how to keep them happy.
Services
Nope.truth is, we're a bit bonkers about global plastic use and since 2017, we're doing our bit.
In 2017 we began the intrepid journey to perhaps one day being entirely plastic free across the whole site.
Although this feeling was out there in the zeitgeist, we were, as always, ahead of the curve in terms of garden centres and the big gun garden centres and their 'more traditional' conventions.
We started removing the pots at checkout and using a fully compostable bag to replace them.
Tied neatly and made of thistle starch, the bag can be planted with the plant or simply discarded into your regular compost stream.
Our beautiful on site cafe, Treviskers Kitchen, is open for breakfast right through to delicious take away in the evenings.
Do make sure to call ahead to confirm, or visit the Facebook page for details of each event.
Chef and owner of Treviskers Kitchen is the talented and passionate Henk.
The master of providing delicious tummy filling classic dishes with a twist, from the most excellent Yorkshire puddings to his sensational Goan Curry recipe, to his famous, twice cooked 'very nice chips'.
South African born but adopted as (nearly!) Cornish, he has a nose for the best new world wines to go with your meal, but you'll also find him up at dawn and selecting the finest fish from Newlyns famous fish market.
We closed in January and some of February.
We told everyone it was to keep our customers safe, and mostly it was that, but also because after 24 years we wanted to sit home and eat cake and do box sets.
We did neither, we built a new gardening section, painted everything that didn't move, put in new heating and tag teamed home schooling.
So yes, we would still like a cake break, but we're fully open.
Serving breakfast from 9am each day, including chefs hearty pancakes with clotted cream, full Cornish, and vegetarian options, plus delicious coffee, home made cakes and perfect lunches including paninis, sandwiches, fresh fish, pasta and vegan options.
