We only work with trusted suppliers and source high quality products that we know our customers will love. We have invested in our own liveried vehicles that have off load facilities, and we use these for local deliveries.

Over the years great relationships have been formed with our preferred hauliers meaning that we are able to offer great service and cost effective solutions for our customer base further afield - regardless of their location throughout the UK mainland. Our door is open to members of the public and we also offer trade accounts for convenience and value for money should this be of interest to you.

We are located near Junction 27 of the M8 near Paisley, come and visit us to discuss your garden and landscaping requirements as we're always happy to help. We recommend placing an advance order for turf required for uplift on a Friday.
Services
Preparation is key!
Before your turf is delivered it is best to ensure that you are ready for it and are able to lay it straight away - so prepping the area first is essential.
Order your turf in advance and aim to have it delivered the day you are ready to lay it.
Rotovate or dig the ground over, removing any dips and hollows.
We recommend adding turf base to level the area out and to provide a good, nutritious base for the turf.
Firm up the freshly turned soil using your feet or a light roller.
Like all plants, lawns require water to help the grass grow properly.
Staying in the UK, we are lucky in that we get quite a lot of rain and our lawns get most of their water supply by natural means.
That being said, rain can sometimes be scarce in summer.
Even if your garden does see the occasional shower it might not be enough to water your grass properly.
Watering established lawns is an essential element of lawn maintenance, however particular attention should be paid to new lawns where the area has just been turfed.
Spring is an exciting time in the garden - lots of plants jump into action with new growth and vitality.
It is the same for lawns.
After lying dormant over the cold winter months the grass starts to come alive again as the milder weather sets in.
When your lawn starts to grow you should start a regular mowing regime.
Mowing regularly keeps your lawn looking tidy, and regular chopping at the height of the grass sward also encourages outward growth, giving you a dense, tightly woven lawn.
In spring we recommend cutting your grass every two weeks.
Over time soil compacts.
When the soil compacts it reduces the amount of oxygen in the root zone and this can have a detrimental affect on root growth.
The root structure needs oxygen to help absorb water and nutrients which are used to produces a green, healthy grass sward.
Aerating is not required on all lawns; however it is recommended on areas of high usage and footfall.
You can use a hollow tine aerator, hire a spiking machine or use a fork to spike holes into the grass.
Your lawn will benefit from a seasonal fertiliser to put nutrients back into the grass roots.
Our store is now open for all customers.
We have a one way system in operation that helps us maintain the recommended social distancing rules.
As we are a shop we have to follow government guidelines and request that each visitor wears a suitable face covering unless they are exempt for medical reasons.
We have installed a perspex screen in the office to act as a safety barrier.
We are also limiting the number of customers in the shop to just one.
As we have a small office space with multiple staff members from different households, the limit of one customer still applies even if they are visiting with a family member.
