This will involve discussions about your planned use and function of the garden, what you like and dislike, your budget and your preferred style of planting and the features you want included.

The owners of a hotel in a conservation area in Bedfordshire needed to build a new community space for the hotel residents and day guests on the site of a derelict pub next door to their buildings.
We were commissioned to design and project manage the build, that included complex heritage building designs for garden walls and renovation of an old Norman wall within the garden.
We need to age the garden so that it felt as though it had been established for many decades.
A complex planning process, and over eighteen A1 drawings later and we got the go ahead to build the Walled garden for the Old Palace Lodge Hotel, as a main focus for wedding receptions and outdoor dining.

This client in Chorleywood was at the end of a large house renovation when we were called in to help with the landscape design.
An old swimming pool area, plus a tricky front garden and small area at the side of the house were modernised with two large water features being incorporated into the scheme.
The garden uses a soft green palette of evergreens and herbaceous plants that feel quite contemporary due to the sharp hard landscaping of slate and white rendered walls.
The Garden has been beautifully constructed by Gary Lucas - Lucas Landscapes.

The garden design for a large Victorian House in Berkhamsted involved the planning and building of a new drive, oak framed garage structure and side garden to the house to provide a low maintenance garden with visual appeal.
The design work drew inspiration from the new oak framed garage and the detailing on the chimney breast of the house.
Needing a low maintenance garden, and more driveway, red brick pavers were chosen with estate railings to echo the existing gate.
The finished garden and driveway are classic and timeless to match the house, with shrub planting to provide year round interest and laurel trees to provide a formal vertical element to the scheme.
