Good pruning is the secret to good gardening.
It can almost appear as a mysterious art form that combines the plant welfare with its future development, without forgetting the overall aesthetics of the plant itself and the whole garden where the shrub is placed.
From routine to formative pruning, all plants need some form of cutting back at some stage of their life.
Sometimes it helps the plant to flower more.
Sometimes it regenerates the whole shrub.
Sometimes it's a simple control of shape and size.

Containers planted with seasonal or permanent plants can be extremely versatile.
If an irrigation system is installed alongside, container gardening can be relatively low maintenance and can brighten any corner of a garden.
Containers add versatility to small and large gardens by providing instant colour and focal points.
A pair of matching containers either side of a doorway can make entrances look welcoming.
Whilst containers on a decked area or a patio can provide colour and ambiance to an outside seating area.
