A Cheshire based Landscape Design company, committed to bringing innovative ideas to every garden. Alexandra Froggatt Design focuses on designing beautiful details and incorporating unique features, whist ensuring the garden not only complements but improves its surroundings. Alex started life as a Biology graduate who specialised in Botany. From there she started carving a career in wildlife conservation.
It quickly became apparent that gardening was where her passions truly lay, combining an avid interest in plants with strong artistic talents. Over the following few years she gained experience as a gardener and honed her design skills as partner in the Sheffield based landscape design company, Wildflower Gardens. Upon returning home, she setup AFD a garden design company that is committed to bringing innovation to every garden.
Established in 2010, it focuses on beautiful details, often incorporating bespoke sculptural elements. Due to their simple but elegant designs and thoughtful planting, each garden not only complements, but enhances it's surroundings.

Services
Alex is a living wall expert and over the last 8 years she has collaborated with green wall specialist, Treebox, creating living walls across the UK.
Living walls are a relatively new phenomena but until recently were only really available commercially due to the awkward nature and high expense of the early modular systems.
Over the last decade, new more practical and easy to use systems have come to the market.
This, combined with the visual, environmental and health benefits of creating green walls makes them a highly desirable addition to any garden and essential if you have a small, urban outdoor space.
