Services
You'll find our garden centre a friendly and welcoming place for the whole family, including the dog!
Our Garden Centre was purchased by the Humphreys family in 1981.
It was a run-down market garden selling fruit, vegetables and cut flowers with a few pot-plants for sale in a lovely greenhouse.
It occupied approx.
8 acres and employed the family plus 2 full-time and 1 part-time staff members.
Since that time, we have expanded to 20 acres and employ seasonally 95 staff - from small acorns, great oak trees can flourish.

These plants are a wonderful addition to the permanent framework of shrubs and evergreens that live in your garden all year round.
They provide a new season of interest when you can try something different - perhaps a new variety or new colour theme.
You can add as many or as few as you like to borders, hanging baskets, tubs and troughs and experiment with what works best for your space.
They can be bold, colourful and also fun: - try vegetables in baskets and planters as they are as ornamental as they are nutritious.

Intro Make your garden a haven for birds and wildlife with our range of feeds, houses and treat.
Wildlife is an important part of a healthy garden.
About half of us in the UK regularly feed garden birds, some of which make wonderful allies - Song Thrushes for example love to eat slugs!
We mustn't forget the other species of wildlife that exists in our garden - many beneficial insects and animals that help develop and balance a healthy ecosystem.
There are many ornamental homes and habitats that can be created to enable us to encourage and observe them living in our gardens.
