Take a look around, find something you like, and get your little ones growing! Pumpkin growing with children is really simple and easy to get involved with, and late May/early June is the perfect time to start growing them in. Adventurous Plants for Adventurous Growers For experienced gardeners, children's seed varieties can sometimes seem repetitive and unadventurous.
We're edging ever closer to summer and hopefully so. We've all been getting out on a lot more walks this year. So, why not try to make your outdoor adventures as entertaining and educational as possible for your little ones?

The first time a child tries growing from seed, success is a must if they are to develop a love for growing: there is nothing more disheartening for an excited child to find their seeds didn't germinate, or were eaten by pests as soon as they sprouted.
We have put together a fine collection of easy-to-grow seeds for kids and children's seed kits to encourage little gardeners to develop their love for growing, and to teach them the rewards of having just a little patience.
If you're new to gardening, or you're not sure what happens next, please visit our Gardening for Kids' Guide to Growing from Seed, where we go through how to plant, what to plant and how to look after your seeds long term.

Seed mixes are the easiest way to grow from seed.
Just sprinkle on prepared ground and watch the flowers grow!
We have lots of seed mixes to make that gardening experience quicker and easier, and to help you create a gorgeous mix of beautiful flowers.
Each mix contains hundreds of seeds mixed with vermiculite, meaning small hands don't need to pick up individual seeds.
Our experience is that you must water these really regularly for the best results.
The Seedboms ideally need to be split open slightly before coming to rest, so the seeds can escape.

This collection of native British wildflower seeds are specially designed by Suttons with reasearch from the Woodland Trust, BBKA, Butterfly Conservation and the RSPB.
These beautiful wildflowers are nectar-rich, providing an excellent food source for our insects and pollinators.
As well, by bringing insects, you also encourage larger animals like bats, hedgehogs and birds.
By planting UK native species (harvested in the UK), you ensure that no invasive species or pests are brought in that could damage the fragile ecosystem.
