Town and City Gardens are less influenced by their surroundings and local vernacular materials like their country cousins.
As such, there is a vast array of choice at hand - some clients like an ultra modern style that will match their new build house, or a milder contemporary style that echoes currents trends.
A simple period style is effective with period properties whilst other clients like to echo a favourite destination i.e.
Japanese or a hot Mediterranean country.
This choice can make the design process complex and demanding but ultimately rewarding and beautiful.

Material choice is carefully considered as the house architecture plays an important role in the decision, quite often the properties are listed or in a conservation area where local stone and even choice of plant material can heavily influence the design.

JOHN KENNY GARDEN DESIGN Designing a garden is very much a partnership between designer and client We work collaboratively with our clients, listening to their needs to ensure that the garden design brief is clear and interpreted correctly in the finished masterplan.
Our aim is to reflect the styling, decoration and colour palette of the clients home so there is a strong visual relationship between the inside and outside spaces.
Once an enquiry has been received, an initial site visit will be arranged to view the garden and discuss your brief and budget.
